Task

• Getting to know the antitrust procedures from the initial stage to the decision

• Assisting and processing inquiries from offices and companies as well as taking on administrative tasks such as file management or file inspection

The Competition Commission (WEKO) and its secretariat monitor the competitive conditions in Switzerland as independent federal authorities. The secretariat consists of 70 employees mainly with legal and economic backgrounds and conducts, among other things, the procedures provided for by the Cartel and Internal Market Act.
