Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (ID 2166)
Main Responsibilities
- Conception, design, engineering and implementation of infrastructure projects in the cloud
- Implement security controls, such as firewalls, security groups, and network access controls, to protect cloud infrastructure and data
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure in a timely manner
- Design and implement disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure services
- Automate infrastructure management using tools like Bicep
- Further development of existing Azure environments
- Analysis of new cloud services and sharing of the acquired knowledge
- Development of technical solution concepts and presentations
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based infrastructure performance and costs
- Provide technical guidance and support to other teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Main Requirements
- You have a degree in computer science or business informatics or comparable qualifications
- CI/CD, GIT and IaC are not foreign terms for you.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure solution architecture and migration
- Proven Azure certifications an advantage
- You have hands-on experience in cloud automation
- You have an understanding of agile methodologies and bring an agile work mindset to the table
- Experience in designing and implementing security controls in cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- Design, implement and maintain our Azure infrastructure using Bicep, Terraform and ARM templates.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
- Certifications are an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a good English proficiency
