The Vocational and Continuing Education Center Toggenburg (BWZT) is an important educational institution in Eastern Switzerland. Around 1,200 apprentices in the vocational fields of health/social, food/gastronomy, and construction/energy acquire their job-specific, school-based basic education at BWZT. The bridging courses as well as continuing education offers from the Vocational Academy complete our educational offerings.

At the start of the 2026/2027 school year with employment starting in August - possibly already after the sports holidays from February 2, 2026, for support courses – we are looking to complement our team with a

What to expect

• Planning and conducting modern, practice- and competence-oriented teaching in basic education
• Conducting support and remedial courses
• Individual supervision and support of learners
• Active participation in the design of training programs and teaching materials in collaboration with the team
• Participation in team meetings, further training, and school development projects

What distinguishes you

• EFZ certificate in an electrical profession and TS/HF diploma or federal diploma as an electrical installer (higher professional examination)
• Certificate as a vocational teacher in a secondary occupation or willingness to obtain this teaching qualification
• Experience in creating and maintaining electrical installations
• Communicative and strong leadership personality with great social competence
• Creativity and commitment in lesson design
• Professional competence and enjoyment in working with adolescents and young adults
• IT affinity (M365, Moodle, etc.)
