About the job
As a subdivision of the BIZ, the Psychological Counselling Office for Vocational Education and Grammar Schools supports adolescents and young adults with psychological problems, in psychosocial stress situations as well as with performance and motivation difficulties, thus helping them achieve sustainable integration into the working world. To expand our team, we are looking for three psychologists.
Note: Only applications in German will be considered.
Your tasks
- We are growing and expanding our team! Shape the expansion of our services at grammar schools as well as the further development at vocational schools decisively and contribute your psychological expertise to the counselling and support of adolescents and young adults in psychosocial stress situations.
- You actively collaborate with schools at the SEK II level, training companies, and the Department of Vocational Education and network throughout the canton.
- You use your wide scope for creativity to develop individual solutions for the diverse concerns of those seeking advice.
- In cases of crises, conflicts, and bullying situations, you conduct class interventions and work closely with school management and teachers.
Your profile
- You are a psychologist with a completed Master’s degree (further training in school psychology, child and adolescent psychology and/or psychological counselling/psychotherapy is desirable).
- You bring professional experience in counselling and supporting psychologically burdened adolescents and young adults.
- You present yourself competently, express yourself confidently in written and spoken German, and contribute your expertise to the organisation of training events.
- As much as you actively contribute to the team, you also work independently on subject areas.
