"Zäme witercho" - At Zentrum Schlossmatt, around 300 employees from various fields dedicate themselves daily to the well-being of 186 residents. Our care centre specialises in the complex care of people with multiple disabilities, dementia care, as well as rapid emergency admissions and short stays for transitional or rehabilitation care. In addition to our diverse therapy offerings, under our roof you will also find a day centre, a daycare centre, and a restaurant for intergenerational encounters.What does your daily routine look like?
- You can expect a very varied training; no day is like the other!
- Mostly, you will perform basic care tasks (support with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility) and assist the residents in their daily lives.
- Administrative tasks are also part of the role, as well as household duties.
- Depending on your training level, you will carry out medical-technical tasks such as injections, changing dressings, or taking blood samples.
What prerequisites do you bring?
- You enjoy working with people who have disabilities.
- You are reliable, motivated, and a team player.
- You are physically and mentally resilient.
- You are a communicative, open, and cheerful person.
- You have good German skills and understand Swiss German.
- You are aware that various shifts must be worked (e.g. weekends or split shifts).
- The commute to the different educational partners (company in Burgdorf, vocational school in Langenthal, inter-company course in Köniz) is manageable for you.
