Role:
For a demanding position in operational purchasing and supply chain planning, we are looking for an analytical and forward-looking personality. In this position, you ensure the availability of materials and goods, manage procurement and production requirements, and coordinate relevant material flows across various locations. You will work closely with suppliers, strategic purchasing, production, and logistics and actively contribute to the further development of procurement and planning processes.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring worldwide availability of an extensive product range
Timely and quantity-appropriate operational procurement of raw materials and materials
Coordination and monitoring of associated collection transports and delivery dates
Creation and ongoing updating of demand and sales forecasts
Processing and analysing inventory reports from various warehouses
Deriving and managing supplier orders as well as production orders for national and international production sites
Close cooperation with strategic purchasing in the evaluation and further development of suppliers
Analysis and optimisation of purchasing, planning, and procurement processes
Monitoring and optimisation of throughput times as well as maintenance of relevant master data in the ERP system
Active participation in continuous improvement processes within the supply chain
Qualifications:
Completed commercial or technical basic training
Further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate
Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, procurement, material disposition, AVOR/PPS, or production planning
Solid understanding of procurement processes, demand planning, inventory management, and material flows
Very good user knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, as well as confident handling of MS Office
Strong affinity for numbers as well as analytical and structured working methods
Networked thinking, decisiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
High initiative, assertiveness, and solution-oriented working style
Team-oriented and communicative personality
Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
