About the job

• Overall responsibility for customer and family support in the Bern West living area with 5 locations and management of 4 employees
• Advising and supporting interested parties, customers, relatives, social services and referrers regarding our diverse range of services (living with and without services, comprehensive care, specialised dementia care as well as day care)
• Coordination of the entire admission process along the customer journey – from registration through admission to discharge
• Conducting tours and consultation meetings for customers and relatives in the living area
• Competent support with questions about financing, social insurance and administrative procedures
• Promotion of cross-departmental and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Participation in the Bern West executive management, strategic and operational projects as well as active shaping of change processes

• Higher education in social work, nursing, case management or comparable qualification
• Leadership experience
• High communication and empathetic skills
• Experience in advising older people and their relatives
• Sound knowledge of the health and social sector, especially in long-term care
• Organisational and coordination talent
• Strategic and business management thinking and acting
• Confident handling of digital systems
• Teamwork and flexibility

• Financial and/or time support for internal and external training and further education
• 5 weeks holiday, 6 weeks from age 45, 7 weeks from age 55
