The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. It ranks among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the 2025 Newsweek magazine ranking. The Hospital Logistics Department (LOH) is tasked with ensuring that care, teaching, and research units can fully focus on their core activities by providing and developing efficient logistical operational services (disinfection and maintenance, patient transfers, sterilisation, catering, goods transport, stock management, etc.).
The hotel service catering includes several major kitchens producing over 2.2 million meals annually for patients, staff, and visitors. This work is carried out by more than 300 professionals committed to quality and service.
The Food Production Centre (CPA), located on the Bussigny site, groups the cold production activities of the CHUV kitchens (semi-finished bakery, pastry, butchery, and pantry products).
