Your tasks

• Develop new, innovative products whose requirements go beyond the norm
• Work together with the customer to develop solutions and realise the technical feasibility as well as derive costs for these solutions
• Identify the requirements for production, tools and materials
• Include external suppliers and development partners
• Create setups and development plans, and accompany their implementation in production together with the process engineers
• Complete the learning curve by documenting trial orders and initiate the planning of the next steps
• Hand over and support projects after the development phase to the product engineers according to defined guidelines
• Carry out strategic research and development projects
• Give technical presentations at specialist conferences and trade fairs
• Travel activity max. 5%

Your profile

• Scientific or engineering degree (university/fachhochschule), preferably in mechanical engineering, medical technology or physics
• Experience in a comparable role is an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Quick comprehension, ability to set priorities correctly, networked thinking
• Team player and a certain willingness to travel
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
