As part of the continuous development of our team in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking to strengthen our team for personal insurance with an experienced and committed individual as a Specialist in Daily Sickness Benefits. In this demanding role, you will handle complex benefit cases and actively contribute your expertise.

The following exciting tasks await you:

• Independent and qualified handling of daily sickness benefit cases
• Assessment of benefit claims considering medical, insurance law, and economic aspects
• Active and customer-oriented case management in close collaboration with care managers, consulting doctors, and other specialist departments
• Drafting demanding correspondence as well as conducting complex telephone conversations and negotiations
• Regular communication with insured persons, employers, authorities, doctors, and legal representatives
• Professional support and knowledge transfer within the team
• Participation in process optimisation and further development of the specialist area

What distinguishes you:

• A commercial basic education in the insurance sector and several years of experience in claims handling for personal insurance, ideally in the daily sickness benefits sector
• Private and/or social insurance professional certificate
• In-depth knowledge of personal insurance and a strong understanding of complex benefit cases
• High decision-making ability and analytical thinking
• Fluent German, French skills are an advantage
• Communication skills, negotiation ability, and assertiveness
