Your responsibilities :

• Control management of members of the army and civil protection using various databases
• Summoning participants for training courses, orientation days and recruitments
• Processing leave and duty rescheduling requests
• Providing information and advice to those liable for service and duty

Your background :

• Completed vocational training in the commercial sector with several years of professional experience or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge of the army and/or civil protection, preferably with military or protection service completed
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of MS Office products

Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB)

The Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB) is an operational, training and administrative organisation. The AMB is an office with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the Civil Protection Task Force, training in civil protection as well as for personnel and leadership in civil protection. Administrative tasks include, among others, army duties on behalf of the federal government or the operation of the Liestal barracks. Furthermore, the AMB prepares operational and contingency planning and provides logistics and administrative services.
