What you will achieve

• You independently carry out maintenance and repair work on production facilities and machines.
• You perform fault-oriented, preventive and precautionary maintenance activities and ensure that the equipment is ready for use.
• You troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs professionally, including on pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical drives.
• You optimise the mechanics of our production processes and implement preventive measures.
• You document the work performed, report relevant deviations and make improvement suggestions.
• Close collaboration with production, engineering and external partners.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: as a mechanic, machine mechanic, polymechanic, operations mechanic or maintenance mechanic. Alternatively: further training as a maintenance specialist
• Professional experience: 2 to 40 years of professional experience, ideally in the maintenance of production facilities in the food industry. A workplace where both recent graduates and experienced professionals over 55 years are welcome.
• You have knowledge of pneumatics, ideally also hydraulics and mechanical drive technology.
• Ideally basic knowledge in chip-removing machining (drilling, milling, turning)
• You are willing to work in 3 shifts and on-call duty
• Contact and communication skills, teamwork and a cooperative working style. You enjoy working independently and have an interest in technical challenges.
• Crane training (industrial cranes) category C and forklift driver training are advantageous.
• PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) or willingness to learn them.
• German (C1)
