As a Category Sales Manager for our B2B channel iba.ch, you are responsible for supplier conditions in tender and contract business. You negotiate the terms for important tenders with our suppliers and help shape the prices for our contract customers. You are part of the category management team and work closely with the iba sales team, controlling and our category managers. This way, you make iba faster and more competitive in the tender business.

That is why we are looking for you:
Your tasks

• Negotiation and coordination of the supplier side in tender business
• Consolidation of insights, standardisation of requests and optimisation of processes
• Development of customer-oriented assortment and pricing strategies for tender customers
• Co-design of discount, tiered and price models
• Analysis and assurance of customer profitability
• Close cooperation with sales, category management, controlling and IT

• Commercial training with relevant further education
• Several years of experience in purchasing, B2B sales or category management
• Negotiation experience with suppliers and in tenders
• Strong in pricing, conditions and margin control
• Very good Excel skills, BI experience an advantage
• Fluent in German, French an advantage
• Analytical, independent and strong communication skills
