To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, reliable, and professionally competent individual for the area of freight forwarding and inventory management in the fresh meat segment.Your challenge:
- Provision, picking, and checking of customer orders including special and large orders
- Ensuring a smooth flow of goods between the cutting plant, warehouse, freight forwarding, production, and external companies (e.g. the slaughterhouse)
- Checking product quality upon receipt and before dispatch
- Compliance with and monitoring of hygiene and safety regulations
- Checking best-before dates (BBD)
- Coordination and organisation with internal and external interfaces
- Checking and processing of picking lists
- Monitoring and managing stock levels in the fresh meat area
- Support with monthly inventories
- Prioritising orders according to specifications and assisting with the optimal distribution of scarce stocks
- Monitoring freezing and thawing processes
Your profile:
- Completed training as a meat specialist, butcher, or equivalent professional experience
- Forklift licence is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Good resilience, flexible, team-oriented, with a sense of order and quality awareness
- Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office
