The Swiss People's Party SVP of the Canton of Zurich is looking for a parliamentary group secretary from 1 April 2027 or by arrangement.

These tasks await you:

• Responsibility for the organisational and administrative care and support of the SVP cantonal council parliamentary group and the associated committees
• Preparation and follow-up of internal parliamentary group meetings
• Organisation of parliamentary group events
• Independent management of the parliamentary group business system
• Coordination between the cantonal council parliamentary group, party secretariat and other party bodies
• Meeting invitations and collaboration for the various committee meetings of the SVP Canton Zurich (including minute-taking)
• Assistance with numerous events of the SVP Canton Zurich
• Support for the editorial team of our weekly party newspaper
• Participation in the organising committee of the annual Albisgüetli conference

What we expect from you:

• Commercial basic training, confident German language skills, very good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Affinity for the cantonal, conservative politics of the SVP
• Independent, efficient and punctual completion of tasks, even in busy times
• Resilience and time flexibility (including evening and weekend work)
• High service orientation and the ability to deal with various stakeholders
• Open and communicative personality with strong social skills in dealing with people
