The position includes the operation, further development and implementation of customer infrastructures in the areas of network, server, virtualisation and backup. Additionally, support tasks and the technical documentation of the managed environments are undertaken.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of existing LAN and WLAN infrastructures
Operation and further development of customer platforms with HCI, server virtualisation and backup
Planning, design and implementation of network infrastructures based on Cisco and Huawei technologies
Implementation and support of platform solutions with Nutanix, Huawei and VEEAM
Taking over 1st and 2nd level support
Analysis and resolution of network and platform faults
Creation and maintenance of technical network, platform and operational documentation
Qualifications:
Completed training in the field of computer science
Experience in operating LAN and WLAN networks and/or virtualised platforms
Basic knowledge of Cisco and/or Huawei network technologies is an advantage
Basic knowledge of Nutanix or server virtualisation solutions is an advantage
Training or further education in relevant manufacturer technologies is an advantage
Willingness to learn and readiness for professional development with the support of a mentor
Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style
Languages
Good German skills in spoken and written form
English skills in spoken and written form
