80% - 100% | Emmenbrücke | from 01.12.2026 or by arrangement
The South Security Police consists of the three police regions City of Lucerne, Emmen and Kriens-Horw. It relies on visible presence and citizen-oriented police work.
Your tasks
- Conduct active community policing on patrol (mainly on foot) in the assigned municipal area within the framework of an individual monthly plan
- Perform all core police tasks including recording facts and completing assignments
- Maintain contact with the population within the municipality of Emmen
- Build and maintain a network with authorities, businesses, groups, schools and clubs in the municipality of Emmen
- Participate in general meetings of neighbourhood associations
- Manage hotspots, coordinate focus areas, control and monitoring activities (e.g. school routes) as well as event escorts according to guidelines
- Ongoing assessment of the security situation and police-related issues in the assigned municipal area (independently or according to guidelines)
- Coordinate with other police departments such as prevention, criminal investigation, etc.
- Participate in special operations (e.g. order service, special and prevention actions)
Your profile
- Completion of police training and several years of professional experience
- Independent and reliable personality with a strong sense of duty
- High motivation for initiative and commitment
- Proven contact and communication skills combined with exemplary conduct
- Negotiation skills, service orientation and good perception and assessment abilities
- Willingness for specialised training
