Portrait of the School/Institution
Since August 2018, the municipality of Köniz has been running a special primary school. We are a small special school with 6 classes; 3 basic levels, 2 intermediate levels, and one upper level. There are 7 students in a class. The teachers are supported by an intern. Organizationally, we are integrated into the Hessgut Liebefeld primary school.

Due to retirement, we are looking for a new job partner for our long-standing and very committed special education teacher starting August 2026.

Tasks
- permanent position 18-20 lessons per week at a basic level
- teaching responsibility
- leading and organizing the class with a job partner
- close collaboration with job partner, 8-10 lessons team teaching
- key person work, creating educational plans
Requirements
- teaching diploma and diploma in school special education or equivalent training, ideally with teaching experience
- experience in guiding students with cognitive impairments and on the autism spectrum
- experience working with educational plans/support planning and LP21
- close collaboration in the class team is a prerequisite
- sense of humor
