About the job
VZ is the leading independent financial service provider in Switzerland. We create transparency in the banking and insurance market and advise our customers comprehensively and neutrally. As we are growing strongly, we are looking for reinforcement at our headquarters in Zurich.
Junior Business Analyst Occupational Pensions
What to expect from us
- You will engage intensively with our operational processes and workflows and develop a deep understanding of how our day-to-day business functions.
- You analyse existing processes, identify potential improvements and derive optimisation and automation approaches. In doing so, you work closely with employees and specialists in Operations as well as Process Management.
- You collect optimisation requests from the specialist departments, question and structure them, and develop clear professional requirements and solution proposals from them.
- You act as a link between Operations and Process Management. For major process and system adjustments, you prepare the requirements from a professional perspective and support their implementation. Smaller optimisations you implement independently and pragmatically.
- You support the standardisation, simplification and digitalisation of workflows and thus contribute to the continuous development of our area.
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in business informatics, business administration or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in business analysis, process and digital solution development or experience in occupational pensions
- Enjoyment of operational workflows and complex processes
- Analytical and structured thinking and a sense for simpler, more efficient and more digital processes
- Enjoyment of conceptual work, high quality awareness, initiative and solution-oriented working style
What we offer you
- A versatile role directly at the interface between operational processes and digitalisation in the field of occupational pensions.
- The opportunity not only to analyse workflows but also to actively help shape improvements and see their impact directly in day-to-day business.
- Plenty of room for initiative and the opportunity to contribute and implement your own improvement ideas.
- A appreciative environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths
- Individual support and assistance with further training
- A dynamic working environment in which you can gradually take on responsibility and further develop your skills in business analysis, process optimisation and digitalisation.
