Multiple locations, one team: As an ICT Infrastructure Specialist, you keep the technical foundation for a demanding operation running. Server landscapes, networks, and cloud solutions are in your hands, as well as their continuous development. If a problem arises anywhere, you are on hand to find a solution that lasts. In this way, you contribute significantly to ensuring that production and broadcasting operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Introducing, operating, and monitoring server environments, network components, storage and backup systems are part of your daily routine, as are cloud services such as Microsoft 365 (M365).
You investigate complex faults and develop solutions that are sustainable during ongoing operations.
You keep an eye on the quality of service delivery and actively drive efficiency improvements.
Documentation and maintenance of IT infrastructures and applications fall within your area of responsibility.
Additionally, you take turns on-call and handle incident and change management up to 2nd level.
You also oversee IT projects, manage external partners, and support the technical team during external assignments and events.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in the IT field and bring initial to several years of practical experience.
You are familiar with network technologies, client, server, and database architectures, as well as Microsoft operating systems and applications.
You are experienced in engineering and 2nd level support of larger ICT infrastructures, such as virtualisation, enterprise storage, or Active Directory.
You enjoy interacting with users and customers, and your social skills are convincing.
Commitment, communication skills, and team spirit characterise you; you want to achieve something together.
Furthermore, you demonstrate high flexibility and are willing to work evenings or weekends. Experience in the broadcast environment is an additional plus.
