If you are interested in church life and enjoy contact with people, then you are the person we are looking for. Our parish has about 2,300 members, which corresponds to about a quarter of the village population.
Your tasks:
- Preparing the rooms and technical equipment for services, weddings, baptisms, funerals, concerts, and other events
- Assisting at events, aperitifs, and children’s coffee gatherings
- Maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of church buildings
- Maintenance and care of the garden area and surroundings
Our requirements:
- Flexibility and willingness for irregular working hours (evenings and weekends)
- Service-oriented behavior and polite manners
- Independent and reliable working style
- Good technical knowledge and manual skills
- Driver’s license category B
- Completed basic sexton course or willingness to complete it
- Caretaker training is an advantage
- Living in the immediate vicinity
