Role:

You don’t just want to manage devices but want to design the entire client landscape from the ground up? As a Senior System Engineer:in Modern Workplace, you shape the technical direction of a modern workplace and mobile platform based on Microsoft 365 (M365). Your concepts combine security, automation, and user-friendliness into a coherent whole. With your experience, you are the technical reference for all questions regarding endpoint management.

Responsibilities:

• You design security standards for Windows and mobile devices and anchor endpoint security policies as well as baselines in the platform.

• You design standardised processes for onboarding, offboarding, licences, and device lifecycles and automate them with PowerShell and the Graph API.

• You expand the Intune architecture and are responsible for zero-touch provisioning with Windows Autopilot.

• Additionally, you further develop software packaging and deployment processes.

• You plan update and patch cycles for Windows clients, manage lifecycle projects, and test new technologies in proof of concepts.

• You also define best practices and operational concepts and conduct in-depth root cause analyses for persistent issues.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of solid experience in modern workplace or client engineering, at least five years in demanding environments.

• You know Microsoft Intune in depth, from mobile device management (MDM) and MAM to compliance policies and configuration profiles.

• You implement patch management, feature updates, and endpoint hardening confidently and systematically.

• Furthermore, you automate complex processes via scripting and ideally have experience with API-based solutions.

• You easily understand the dependencies between identity, security, and collaboration services such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• You work independently and solution-oriented, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and express yourself precisely in German as well as confidently in English.
