For the establishment and further development of our E/E-Product Security activities at vehicle, system and infrastructure level, we are looking for a motivated and experienced E/E-Product Security Engineer for the IT team in the Finance & Controlling division.

This position combines automotive cyber security with IT and infrastructure security. You will help us secure our vehicles, systems, interfaces, processes and supporting technical environments and make an important contribution to the further development of our security landscape.

Your Tasks

• Support in the implementation and further development of cybersecurity requirements in the area of E/E systems, software, vehicle architecture as well as IT and infrastructure systems
• Participation in risk analyses, especially TARA, as well as in the assessment and tracking of vulnerabilities and measures
• Support in CSMS and SUMS relevant activities related to homologation, audits and regulatory requirements
• Participation in the definition and implementation of technical and organisational security measures
• Support in incident, vulnerability and supplier security management
• Participation in security assessments of architectures, components, interfaces and suppliers
• Further development, automation and optimisation of existing tools, templates and processes
• Contributing own ideas to the strategic further development of the product security landscape at HESS

Our Requirements

• Completed technical basic training and further education or degree in the field of computer science, cyber security, electrical engineering, systems engineering (or comparable qualification)
• Knowledge in dealing with security risks in E/E architectures as well as a good understanding of automotive cyber security
• Good knowledge of IT and infrastructure security
• Ideally experience with TARA, security engineering as well as regulatory or normative requirements
• Experience or interest in programming or script development
• Enjoyment in further developing tools, processes and technical solutions
• Good language skills in German and English
• Independent working style as well as strong analytical skills
• Strength in structured documentation and tracking of topics
• Flawless MS Office skills
• Good communication skills
