ABB Motion Services Division serves customers worldwide by maximizing uptime, extending product life cycle and enhancing the performance and energy efficiency of their electrical motion solutions. The Division is leading the way in digitalization by securely connecting motors and drives, increasing operational uptime and improving efficiency. The services offered make the difference for our customers and partners every day by helping keep their operations running profitably, safely and reliably.
Location
This role is open globally, with preference for Europe (Italy, Switzerland) and Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia). The work model is hybrid. #LI-hybrid
Key Responsabilities
- Drive profitable growth of the Medium Voltage Drives Service portfolio, achieving volume, margin, and profitability targets.
- Identify and develop new service opportunities through installed base insights and market intelligence.
- Manage the full sales cycle including pipeline creation, offer preparation, value‑based pricing, negotiation, and closure.
- Support Local Sales Units and Regions, ensuring strong relationships and smooth customer experience.
- Conduct customer visits and site support to clarify technical topics on MV drives and service products.
- Execute channel development initiatives including partner enablement, training, and capability building.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Product Experts, BL) to ensure aligned forecasts and feasible offerings.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and accurate reporting following ABB processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, service, or medium‑voltage related roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proven ownership and delivery mindset.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (customers, LSUs, channel partners).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel 40–50%, higher during onboarding.
