For our clients, a modern and international technology company in the Biel metropolitan area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an enthusiastic and committed individual as Logistics Manager 100%.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the efficient planning and coordination of resources in the warehouse and logistics area
• Monitoring forecasts, workload and team capacities to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitoring and further development of relevant logistics key figures and performance indicators
• Participation in daily deployment planning, prioritisation of tasks and solving operational challenges
• Ensuring compliance with processes, quality standards, safety regulations
• Promotion of lean management approaches as well as continuous optimisation of warehouse and logistics processes
• Participation in internal audits and ensuring corresponding compliance requirements
• Deputising for the responsible manager in the logistics and warehouse area during their absence
• Taking on further tasks and projects in purchasing and logistics as required

Your profile

• Technical education
• Advanced business school or further training in materials management
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing/PPS/AVOR with a management position
• Languages: business fluent in English; very good German and French
• Good MS Office and SAP knowledge
• Independent working style
• Leadership experience, assertiveness, employee motivation
• Negotiation skills
• Team-oriented and economical thinking and acting
