Your new tasks

• You and your team are an integral part of the DI Sales Acceleration organisation, and you take full business responsibility for the technology portfolio group Automation.
• In this role, you are responsible for all sales, promotion, and technical consulting activities within the portfolio group in Switzerland and lead a team of 8 employees.
• In close cooperation with your team members, you ensure that business operations run smoothly and properly.
• Proactively, you drive the development of strategies for customer development and increasing market exploitation – always in close coordination with the sales teams.
• As a partner, you advise customers regarding their digital transformation and their international business developments.
• Strategic capacity and competence planning is also your responsibility.
• Based on our ownership culture and a pronounced growth mindset, you motivate your team and the entire organisation to continuously improve.
  
  

Your talents & experience

• The basis of your success is a completed technical or business degree.
• Building on this, you convince with sales and promotion experience in product and system business within automation technology.
• Additionally, you have knowledge of industry-specific automation solutions, digitalisation and drive technologies, as well as the associated portfolio elements of Digital Industries.
• Furthermore, you already bring disciplinary and technical leadership experience in multicultural teams and have experience in business responsibility.
• Industry and business expansion, customer orientation, and sales are your passion.
• You are a personality who enables and motivates your organisation to realise its potential in order to achieve ambitious goals together.
• You have experience in international collaboration and are confident in management communication with large customers.
• Your willingness to change, assertiveness, and intercultural competence enable you to collaborate on an equal footing across business areas, sales channels, and regions.
