For our client from the Menziken region, we are looking to support with a

Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your tasks:

• Technical project management with a focus on mechanical development
• Development, design and dimensioning of fixtures, special machines and automata
• Evaluation and selection of suitable manufacturing technologies and components
• Clarification of requirements and development of concepts
• Cross-departmental internal and external coordination in internal projects or external project procurement (control engineering, production, purchasing, suppliers, service providers)
• Close collaboration with product development, control engineering, production and quality departments
• Commissioning, continuous improvement process, production support of existing and new systems
• Ensuring compliance with machinery directives and CE requirements

Your profile:

• Automation specialist, basic mechanical training (EFZ), further training to technician HF or engineer (BSc) (or equivalent)
• Several years of experience (5-10+ years) in special machine construction
• Conceptualisation, development and design of special machines/automata
• Proven experience in SolidWorks, tolerance management and functionally appropriate design
• Practical experience in system commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience with machinery directives and CE approval processes
• Practical knowledge in related areas: control engineering / PLC, drive technology, pneumatics, feeding technology, system assembly
• Solid experience in technical project management
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
• Confident handling of complex and changing requirements
• Ability to make and represent technical decisions on a sound basis
• High sense of responsibility and quality orientation
• Teamwork and cross-departmental thinking
• Resilience and flexibility with changing priorities
• Strong communication skills in interdisciplinary teams
• German language skills, spoken and written
