For our team in the Actives Production department at the Volketswil site, we are looking for a Production Specialist (m/f/d) starting February/March 2027. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely production of products in the required quality and quantity. You will work with a variety of raw materials, gaining an in-depth insight into the world of cosmetics. Your new team is already eager to meet you.

In this exciting position you will:

• Carry out and monitor processes as well as clean reactors and peripheral equipment in compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and EffCI guidelines (Cosmetic GMP) for the following
• Processes/product categories: polymers, biotechnological production of cosmetic active ingredients and mixtures for the cosmetics industry (compounding)
• Operate very different production plants: multipurpose reactors, various vacuum pumps, filtration systems, mixers and extraction plants
• Independently manage productions including documentation, packaging and cleaning
• Perform quality controls: ensure compliance with quality standards, carry out in-process controls (pH, density, refractive index, viscosity and olefin determinations)
• Handle complex procedures in small teams and support other employees as needed

 
Your qualifications & professional experience include:

• Completed apprenticeship, preferably in chemistry, food industry (e.g. baker/confectioner) or mechanics
• Experience in food technology, pharmaceutical or chemical production is desirable
• Confident handling of chemicals
• High awareness of compliance with safety, quality and hygiene regulations
• No (acute) allergies
• Enjoyment of varied tasks and the challenges they bring
• Precise, efficient working style, high social competence and teamwork skills
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
