Role:
You like to keep things running and ensure that demanding applications function stably, reliably and efficiently. In this role, you are responsible for the operation of the OSS/BSS systems and ensure that all applications work together smoothly. With your technical understanding and analytical thinking, you analyse and resolve faults purposefully and sustainably. You take on the continuous development of the application landscape and contribute significantly to the stability of the systems with your quality awareness. This ensures that business-critical processes are always supported performantly and reliably.
Responsibilities:
You handle complex 2nd-level tickets for our central OSS/BSS systems, analyse causes and document solutions clearly
In this role, you transfer recurring or deep-seated faults into problem or service fault management
You respond quickly to alerts from monitoring systems, locate faults and restore stable operation
As an application operation and support specialist, you share your expertise within the team and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation
You work closely with 1st- and 3rd-level support as well as other stakeholders and keep everyone informed in critical situations in a timely manner
In this role, you actively participate in varied projects and continuously help shape application operations
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or a comparable qualification as well as completion or ongoing attendance of a higher technical college
Practical experience in application analysis, reading logs (e.g. Splunk) and system monitoring (e.g. Zabbix)
Basic knowledge of software development in the .NET environment or experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases
High willingness to learn, curiosity and enjoyment of continuous development - even with recurring routine tasks
Willingness to regularly perform on-call duty
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
