Senior Avaloq Engineer / Java / Event Streaming / Investments & Pensions / 50% / ZH
Project For a demanding banking project in the area of investments & pensions, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq DevOps Engineer. The focus is on connecting a new Order Management System as well as further developing securities processing. The goal is to increase the STP rate, reduce risks, and improve the quality of banking processes. Start 01.01.2027 in Zurich at 50% for 12 months.

Tasks:

• Parameterisation and further development of portfolio management functions and master data extensions in Avaloq
• Development of event streaming interfaces to other systems
• Support and further development of Java-based software components
• Support of ongoing operations as well as analysis and resolution of disruptions
• Participation in quality improvements and optimisation of securities processing
• Collaboration in an agile DevOps team according to SAFe and SCRUM

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in Avaloq parameterisation
• Knowledge of customer-specific Avaloq implementation
• Experience with agile development methods, ideally SAFe and SCRUM
• Knowledge of Java and interface development, especially event streaming
• Willingness to take on operational tasks within the DevOps approach
• Interest in the area of investments & pensions
• Analytical, structured working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Knowledge in Kafka/event streaming, interface integration as well as Avaloq portfolio management, master data and banking processes in the area of investments & pensions.
