Role:
You don’t just want to deliver software to SMEs but significantly improve their processes? As an Abacus Payroll & HR Consultant, you bring together finance, payroll, and personnel on a modern enterprise resource planning platform (ERP). Customers appreciate you as a sparring partner who listens carefully and finds pragmatic solutions. With Abacus, you create digital processes that work in everyday life and are sustainable in the long term.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for implementations and migrations from the initial requirements gathering to stable live operation
You precisely configure around financial accounting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment transactions, and cost accounting
This also includes setting up and optimising payroll and HR processes in the respective applications
You critically review existing installations and specifically refine settings and processes
Furthermore, you ensure clean data transfers, integrate third-party systems, and automate approvals via digital workflows
You also test solutions together with customers, accompany go-lives, and use new releases for ongoing improvements
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in ERP consulting, fiduciary services, client support, or a similar role
Solid know-how in applications for finance and/or personnel and payroll forms your basis, ideally with your own implementations
You understand accounting and cost accounting as well as the processes of payroll accounting
You confidently translate customer requirements into application solutions and keep an eye on the interaction with adjacent systems
Additionally, you have experience with interfaces, data migrations, and development projects
You work solution-oriented, communicate clearly, and express yourself fluently in German
