Responsibilities

• You take on the personnel and professional leadership of the focus team "Organisation, Innovation and Impact".
• You shape team development in a participatory and results-oriented manner and are committed to promoting junior staff.
• You implement and further develop the focus topic strategy.
• Together with your focus team, you develop and launch new offers, practice-oriented and strategically framed.
• You design, lead and are responsible for research and development projects and engage in teaching in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Social Work according to profile on topics of social management, organisational development, social innovations, digital transformation and social entrepreneurship.
• As a member of the extended institute management, you share responsibility for the strategic further development of the institute.
• You purposefully expand your network in the Zurich region as well as nationally and, if applicable, internationally, and maintain exchange with stakeholders from practice, politics, administration and social science.
• You lead with an attitude of confidence, implementation orientation, collaboration and trust.

Profile

As a leader who wishes to achieve a tangible impact in the social sector and in teaching and research in social work through their actions, you make an important contribution to the reputation of the Institute for Social Management. You hold a university degree in social work or a social science field and have acquired profound expertise and built networks through your many years of professional experience in the public or non-profit sector. You bring teaching expertise and research know-how as well as corresponding recognised qualifications (PhD). You lead with clarity and sensitivity, recognise social and organisational issues in the non-profit sector early on, and have the drive to initiate the development of new teaching, research and continuing education offers together with your team. You have business fluent German and English skills (spoken and written); good French skills are an advantage. Strong digital competencies, both professionally and in the concrete application of tools, complete your profile.
