How you can make an impact
- As a Senior Consultant / Manager in our HR Strategy & Technology practice, you will be a trusted strategic advisor helping organizations optimize their HR operating models, payroll operations, and HR service delivery. You will:
- Lead HR Strategy Engagements - Partner with C-suite and HR leadership to develop comprehensive HR strategies, HR process and policies designs, and operating models that drive business value
- Advise on Payroll Transformation - Provide expert guidance on payroll optimization, outsourcing decisions, technology implementations, and process improvements across complex, multi-country environments
- Optimize HR Service Delivery - Help clients evaluate and redesign their HR service delivery models, including shared services, business process outsourcing, and technology enablement
- Manage Strategic Client Relationships - Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, serving as the primary advisor for complex, high-value engagements
- Develop Integrated Solutions - Create holistic HR solutions that combine strategy, process redesign, technology, and organizational change to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Mentor and Develop Talent - Guide junior consultants and team members, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth in HR advisory and consulting
- Contribute to Thought Leadership - Develop insights on HR trends, payroll innovation, and organizational effectiveness; publish thought leadership content and represent Deloitte at industry events
- Shape Our Practice - Contribute to the growth and evolution of our HR Strategy & Technology practice in Switzerland, helping us stay at the forefront of HR transformation
Who are we looking for?
- Strong academic background, ideally a Master’s degree or MBA from a reputable institution, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in HR advisory, HR consulting, or HR operations, with a focus on Payroll and HR Services is a must
- Demonstrated expertise in Payroll strategy, Payroll outsourcing, Payroll technology, and Payroll operations optimization
- Strong experience with HR service delivery models, shared services, and business process outsourcing
- Proven track record of leading / supporting successful HR transformation and advisory projects
- Deep understanding of HR processes, payroll regulations, and organizational structures
- Experience working with multinational organizations and complex, multi-country HR and payroll environments
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German is essential; proficiency in additional languages such as French is an advantage
- Excellent people management skills and an enthusiastic, positive, 'can do' attitude
- An incisive thinker, confident with concepts, analysis and frameworks, with the ability to structure work and deliver under pressure
- An excellent relationship builder with clients and fellow consultants, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally as required.
