For our partner located in the canton of Geneva, GI Life Sciences is looking for a Material Planner. In close collaboration with the Production, Quality, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams, you will ensure the availability of raw materials and components essential to the smooth running of industrial activities, while contributing to stock optimisation and the overall performance of the supply chain.

Your mission:
A true interface between suppliers, purchasing, quality, planning and production, you will manage supplies while optimising stock levels and ensuring continuity of operations in a GMP/GxP environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyse demand forecasts, stock levels and supplier lead times to establish and manage supply plans.
- Independently manage the replenishment of raw materials and components via ERP/MRP proposals.
- Place supplier orders and monitor them until receipt of goods.
- Optimise stock levels while controlling storage costs and the risk of shortages.
- Manage ERP parameters related to the supply chain (lead times, safety stocks, replenishment thresholds, item data, prices, etc.).
- Ensure the update of purchasing and supply data in the ERP.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing and Quality Control teams to guarantee material availability.
- Anticipate and resolve supply, logistics or supplier performance issues.
- Manage supplier returns and participate in continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes.
- Produce and analyse supplier performance indicators (OTIF) and participate in annual reviews.
- Write and maintain quality documentation related to your scope of activity.
- Apply GMP/GxP procedures as well as health, safety and environmental rules in force on site.
Your profile:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Management or equivalent field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning or Supply Planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech or chemical sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of supply processes, stock management and material planning.
- Proven experience with an ERP, ideally Sage X3.
- Good knowledge of regulated GMP/GxP environments.
- Comfortable with data analysis and managing Supply Chain performance indicators.
- Strong communication, cross-functional coordination and supplier negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in procurement or indirect purchasing is a real asset.
