Claims Specialist UVG (50-100%)

In this position, you will strengthen our dedicated team of specialists and apply your in-depth knowledge of accident insurance law (UVG) specifically to the handling of complex claims cases as well as to the further development of our processes. You will take on professional responsibility, identify optimisation potential, and actively contribute to the implementation of initiatives and projects. Your tasks

• Independent handling of complex claims cases in the area of UVG/UVGZ

• Professional assessment of benefit claims as well as active management of UVG claims cases including pensions

• Professional support and advice to Claims Managers on complex issues

• Promotion of professional exchange and ensuring knowledge transfer within the claims organisation

• Participation in professional projects and continuous development of processes and standards

• Assistance in ensuring quality standards within the framework of quarterly closings

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with the following qualities:

• Proven and several years of professional experience in accident insurance, complex UVG claims handling, and knowledge in the supplementary accident area (according to VVG) is an advantage

• Completed further training in insurance (at least social insurance specialist or a comparable qualification/training)

• Team-oriented and supportive attitude in communication (knowledge transfer) and confident, audience-appropriate presentation skills

• Strong analytical thinking

• Solution-oriented approaches in case handling, flair for numbers, and negotiation skills

• Resilience, flexibility, personal responsibility, and a high degree of independence

• Very good German and French skills, any additional language (EN/IT) is an advantage
