What you can contribute
- Handle criminal customs law cases, mainly in French
- Draft criminal decisions, indictments and referral files for the cantonal public prosecutor's offices, as well as submissions to the federal courts
- Represent the FOCF before the cantonal criminal courts in charge of prosecution proceedings
- Provide internal training and continuing education

- University degree in law and several years of professional experience in criminal prosecution
- Accuracy, analytical mind and excellent oral and written expression
- Sense of responsibility, assertiveness and strong sense of justice
- Good knowledge of a second official language

Security for the population, the economy and the state
The Federal Customs and Border Security Office (FOCF) ensures overall security at the border for the benefit of the population, the economy and the state. It works closely with other national and international authorities. Its main tasks include the proper and rapid customs clearance of commercial goods, the smooth management of tourist traffic as well as the areas of security police and migration. With the Criminal Prosecution Directorate, it has its own investigative authority. The FOCF is undergoing digital transformation. The DaziT programme aims to simplify, optimise and digitise all customs, duty collection and control processes.
