We are looking for a strong candidate to lead the newly established CIO Office. The CIO Office is responsible to provide a consistent, transparent and efficient approach to the way the IT organization delivers value to the business and successfully delivers on SIX transformation.
The CIO Office enables the CIO, steering SIX IT in following areas:
- IT Strategy, Operating Model, Financial & Performance Management
- People & Organizational Enablement
- Strategic Portfolio & Initiative Management
- Communication & Change Management
- Audits orchestration
What you will do:
As Head CIO Office, you lead a department of 20+ employees and work closely with the CIO. As Department Head you are responsible to provide services to the CIO and the IT organisation, by:
- Unifying business and IT strategy, in collaboration with SIX Group Strategy, orchestrating and overseeing the IT strategy execution.
- Partnering with financial controllers, monitoring costs, and providing leadership with transparent and regular financial insights. It supports value-driven IT decisions through financial analysis and performance tracking based on KPIs and IT performance reporting.
- Providing full oversight of the IT project landscape and owning the IT project management portfolio ensuring that efforts are aligned with the IT strategy and roadmap.
- Overseeing communication activities across CIT areas to ensure consistency.
- Orchestrating IT internal and external audits and supporting preparation and handling of regulatory interactions, in strong collaboration with the CRO organization.
What you bring
The ideal candidate has strong understating of both business and IT strategy, as well the ability to lead and influence team to adopt new ways of working.
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles and proven experience in enterprise transformation
- Strong leadership, change management skills
- Strong communication (fluent in English, German / Spanish is a plus) and negotiation skills, towards IT and non-IT audiences, including at C-level
- Understanding of digital technologies and their impact on business
