In your 6-month fixed-term internship, you will dive deep into our core strategies around decarbonisation and circular economy and work on sustainable solutions for the industry of tomorrow.
For our Siggenthal cement plant, we are looking for a curious and committed personality who will join us in exploring new paths for sustainable building materials and resource-saving processes.
Your mission:
You independently take on projects with high networking across various areas of the cement plant
You optimise the use of natural raw materials and promote the use of recycled materials
You actively work to reduce the CO₂ footprint and energy demand of our products – while maintaining consistently high quality.
Your field of activity:
- Raw materials:You classify natural raw materials, products and recycled materials and define optimal mixtures for the highest possible proportion of circular materials.
- Analytical methods:You understand, evaluate and compare existing analytical methods for mineral substances.
- Process engineering:You analyse and optimise process steps such as grinding, mixing, homogenising and conveying raw materials.
- Control technology:You optimise existing control mechanisms and further develop an ongoing investment project to improve analysis and control technology.
Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme or have already completed one – ideally in materials science, process engineering or chemistry
- You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy both planning projects and conducting tests directly in the plant or laboratory
- You work in a structured, self-initiated manner and enjoy working in a team and have an interest in process engineering
- You have good German and English skills, both spoken and written
