Respectful and committed with head, heart, and hand – that is what sumia stands for. In our senior center in Sumiswald, we offer 130 residents a personal and safe home in the rural Emmental. Around 230 employees and 40 volunteers are passionately committed daily to the well-being of our residents.

• Collaboration in the professionally competent care and support of 22 residents
• Taking on diverse tasks independently as well as delegated
• Participation in the further development of the care and support area

• Completed training as Assistant in Health and Social Services EBA, Nursing Assistant, or SRK Nursing Aide
• Empathetic and motivated personality with a flair for working with elderly people
• Willingness to support each other in the team and learn from one another

• We maintain open communication within the team, support each other, and share responsibility together
• We employ you according to the collective labor agreement of the Bernese long-term care institutions
• We prepare your duty roster at least one month in advance
