kenova AG operates one of the most modern waste recovery plants in Switzerland. Using advanced technology, it generates energy from waste for households and businesses and supplies a continuously growing district heating network in the region. Your main tasks

Every year, kenova AG receives 4,600 railway wagons with a total of 14,000 containers filled with waste. Together with your supervisor, you ensure smooth shunting operations.

You support the container transfer from the railway wagons to the trucks. Other tasks include maintenance and repair work on the containers and the switches, as well as site upkeep. Occasional work outside regular hours may be required.

Your profile

You have completed vocational training in a technical or manual field. You have already completed the VTE 10 training (basic training for operating rail vehicles). Good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required. You enjoy working outdoors (summer and winter), are physically fit, flexible, proactive, and have a high safety awareness. Independence, precise work, and organisational skills complete your profile.
