About the job
What to expect
- You organise the daily operations in the AutoStore together with your team and ensure that our B2C and B2B orders on BRACK.CH are processed efficiently and on time. Around 80% of all customer orders are processed via our AutoStores.
- You coordinate the operational activities, take responsibility for daily readiness, and actively contribute to our delivery promise "Ordered today, delivered tomorrow".
- You work closely with your supervisor, the Lead AutoStore, other team leaders, the control centre, and quality management, promoting exchange between the various AutoStore areas.
- You independently organise your area and ensure an optimal flow of our logistics processes through efficient personnel and resource planning. A deputy supports you in this challenging role.
- You lead a team of around 20 to 30 employees both professionally and personally, promote their development, and enable them to jointly drive quality and process improvements – also in a highly automated environment with clearly defined procedures.
- You recruit new employees, conduct annual reviews, ensure transparent information flow, and guarantee compliance with our quality standards through training.
- You work in a diverse team with different cultural backgrounds and age groups. You actively experience the further development of our automation in logistics and lead a team that mostly consists of women.
What you bring
- You are well acquainted with the world of logistics and ideally have some leadership experience.
- You have completed basic training and ideally further education (e.g. logistics certificate or training in processes/projects).
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and approach changes and developments openly.
- You are hands-on and support your team operationally, especially during peak times.
- You communicate clearly, work in a structured manner, and enjoy leading and developing people.
- You have very good German skills, are confident with IT systems, and have an impeccable reputation.
- You are flexible for changing shift work (05:00–14:00 / 14:00–23:00) as well as seasonal Saturday shifts.
