Wädenswil is an attractive town on the left shore of Lake Zurich with around 26,000 inhabitants. Approximately 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population on a daily basis.

The Socioculture office is part of the Society Department of the City of Wädenswil. Its goal is to ensure that residents participate in social processes and can lead an independent and responsible life. From 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a

Employee Socioculture, Youth Department, 80%

Your areas of responsibility include

• Co-responsibility for the operation and design of the youth culture house SUST
• Supervision of the information and contact point in the youth culture house SUST
• Outreach social work in public spaces
• Professional relationship work with young people aged 12 to 25
• Coaching and support of youth groups
• Rental of various rooms
• Planning and implementation of low-threshold sociocultural offers and
• projects
• Networking and public relations work
• Close collaboration with the team of the Socioculture office

What you bring

• Completed training in social work (FH/HF) or comparable qualification
• Experience in open child and youth work
• Competences in project work and methods of sociocultural animation
• Enjoyment in working with people of all age groups
• Independence, flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to work regular evenings and weekends, especially Friday and Saturday evenings
