How you create value

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you monitor the infrastructures of EveryWare customers for suspicious activities and anomalies and analyse security events. In the event of security incidents, you take initial measures to contain cyber attacks and conduct further analyses. To ensure the continuous operation of the EveryWare SOC, you maintain and further develop the cyber security infrastructure. Collaboration with engineers from various teams is just as important as communication and cooperation with customers. Your new role includes the following tasks:

  • Analysis of security events and taking initial measures to contain cyber attacks
  • Security incident response and in-depth analysis of the extent of damage
  • Further development of security incident handling and response processes
  • Maintenance and further development of the cyber security infrastructure
  • Further development of cyber defence services (service portfolio, automation, process improvement)
  • Creating vulnerability reports and discussing the results with engineering teams and customers
  • Supporting engineers and customers with cyber security questions
  • Internal team knowledge transfer

What sets you apart

You have experience as a security analyst with vulnerability and security alert management and are familiar with the analysis, aggregation and correlation of various information. You are familiar with current attack scenarios and know different methods of cyber attack propagation. You are characterised by a high degree of integrity and IT security is a central concern for you. To be successful in this exciting position, you bring the following qualifications:

  • You have already gained initial experience in a security team as a security analyst or security engineer and are familiar with SIEM and EDR.
  • You know how various operating systems work, especially Microsoft Windows and common Linux distributions.
  • Experience with tools and products such as Splunk, Yara, Sigma, SOAR, Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • You have scripting or initial programming experience (e.g. Powershell, Python, shell scripting) and can also apply AI-supported development processes.
  • You are curious, want to develop further in the field of cyber security and have a sense and understanding of customers' business processes.
  • You want to look beyond the scope of a classic security analyst.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and are open and interested in collective learning.
  • You speak fluent German and have good to very good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • A technical degree or technical training and further education.
