About the job
The Kronbühl Foundation supports, accompanies, and cares for children, adolescents, and adults with severe physical and intellectual disabilities. With our diverse offerings tailored to the individual needs of our clients and the high quality of our services, we are among the leading institutions in Eastern Switzerland. In our special day school, six children or adolescents are supported and cared for in a class by a special education team, taking into account their individual abilities. In addition to lessons, the students benefit from a wide range of therapy options. They spend their free time either at home or in our boarding school.
We are looking for one of these classes starting August 1, 2026 or by arrangement a
Teacher
(40-50% workload)
Tasks
- Teaching, support, and assistance of six students aged between 4 and 18 years
- Leading the class team (school assistant, apprentices)
- Collaboration with parents and specialist agencies
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with staff from the boarding school, therapy, medical care, and central services departments
Profile
- Teaching diploma
- Special education additional training desired or willingness to acquire it
- Preferably experience in supporting children and adolescents with disabilities
- Enjoy working in a team
