The EPER employs around 600 people on a permanent basis. The organization's work is driven by the vision of a just world, where peace prevails, the dignity of all human beings is respected, and natural livelihoods are preserved. Swimming Instructor, 2h per week (excluding school holidays)
Diversi’Team is one of the 11 projects led by the Romandy Headquarters in the cantons of Vaud, Geneva, and Neuchâtel. It is an innovative integration project through sports, aimed at migrant individuals in the Canton of Vaud who would like to practice a sport in a group. It offers them the opportunity to become a member of a sports club to train regularly as a team. Through this connection, Diversi’Team supports integration and promotes coexistence, while also promoting sports and health.
To respond to the demand from many women to practice swimming in a non-mixed environment, Diversi’Team is opening a new offer of women's swimming in Ollon (VD). To teach the swimming course and supervise the pools, Diversi’Team is looking for a
Your main responsibilities:
•Professionally ensure the supervision of the public in the pool and the swimming facilities
•Conduct a 45-minute swimming lesson for 10 beginner women, then supervise the pool during 45 minutes of free swimming (pool open to women only)
•Prevent accidents and intervene as needed for first aid actions
•Open and close the pool
•Contact with the project team to set objectives and for monitoring
Your strengths and skills:
•Minimum age of 18 years
•Holder of the Brevet Plus Pool (or Pro Pool) from the Swiss Lifesaving Society (SSS) and BLS-AED certificate or equivalent title up to date
•Experience in teaching swimming to beginners
•Availability on Saturday afternoons from 2 PM to 4 PM
•Good knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
•Strong interest in the field of asylum, migration, and integration
•Sensitivity to gender issues in sports
