About the job

The SVA BL is the competence centre for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law enterprise, it fulfils a legal mandate and contributes to social security for the population and the economy of the canton.

For the IV office Basel-Landschaft, we are looking by arrangement to complement our medical team in the Regional Medical Service of both Basels (RAD) experienced personalities as specialist doctors for child and adolescent psychiatry (80 - 100 %).

What you will achieve

• Medical assessments of benefit applications
• Review of medical documents and final assessment for the benefit decision
• In individual cases, contact with the treating doctor, the assessment and/or implementation office, the teaching staff / social psychiatric service
• Consultation during assessment interviews within the framework of early detection and early intervention
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments

What you bring

• Several years of clinical professional or practical experience as a specialist doctor
• Insurance/social medical prior knowledge is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German skills
• Willingness to combine social medical concerns with the insurance law framework
• Enjoyment of open exchange in professionally and occupationally mixed teams
• Good IT skills (MS Office)
