Role:
A stable cloud does not arise by itself but through thoughtful engineering. This is exactly where you come in as an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, taking responsibility for a Microsoft Azure environment from architecture to operation. Your tools are Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and PowerShell to keep processes reproducible. You consider security, availability, and cost efficiency from the very beginning.
Responsibilities:
You plan cloud migrations, technical changes, and lifecycle measures and implement them in a structured manner.
You ensure stability with well-thought-out monitoring and alerting concepts. You also keep an eye on availability and performance.
You design Azure resources such as virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups and implement storage and compute services.
Furthermore, you are responsible for configurations in Microsoft Entra ID and consistently implement identity and security requirements.
You operate Windows 365, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop and continuously optimise the Windows Server platform.
In addition, you investigate complex incidents and harden backup and recovery solutions.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in engineering Azure cloud and Windows systems.
You confidently use virtual machines, NSGs, private networking, and other IaaS and PaaS components.
Automation is second nature to you. Ideally, you have already deployed infrastructure with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
You also have a solid understanding of DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, hybrid connections, and permission concepts with RBAC.
You work independently, document clearly, and are determined to find the cause even in complex interconnected error scenarios.
Additionally, you communicate effortlessly in German and feel comfortable in English-speaking technical discussions.
Benefits:
- Home office
- Experienced and dynamic team
- Interesting and varied tasks/projects
- Flat hierarchies
- Coaching and mentoring
- Flexible working hours
- Open corporate culture
- Comfortable office with modern infrastructure
