About the job

Since 1956, the Brunau Foundation has been providing services for people with special support needs. It employs around 50 staff, trains over 75 apprentices annually (commercial, logistics and ICT), and offers sheltered workplaces for more than 30 people. With customer orders and internships in the primary labour market, the apprentices are prepared for the working world and accompanied by practical trainers and job coaches. IV-supported trainees can make use of socially pedagogically supervised or accompanied residential offers. The Giesshübel office has sheltered office workplaces for people with an IV pension who have a performance limitation.

To strengthen our secretariat, we are looking for a practical trainer 100% immediately or by arrangement

Your main tasks

• Professional training of apprentices, periodic review of training objectives with setting of new goals
• Qualification and evaluation of apprentices
• Promote apprentices' responsibility and independence and suggest support measures
• Conduct and participate in short assessments and trial days
• Participation in or management of orders/projects
• Assumption and responsibility for the proper management of defined customer orders
• Organisation and implementation of various events/projects in consultation with the team management
• Participation in internal meetings

Your profile

• Commercial basic training EFZ with several years of professional experience
• Experience as a vocational trainer
• Resilient, conflict-capable and balanced personality who enjoys supporting and promoting people with special support needs
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Organisational and planning skills
• Flexible, patient, reliable, a team player and cooperative
• Swiss citizenship or C permit
