About the job
In this diverse job
- you take over print data
- you plan and prepare production
- you set up printing systems and peripheral devices
- you produce a wide variety of printed products (brochures, booklets, magazines, flyers, etc.) on the most modern, highly precise, electronically controlled machines
- you monitor the printing process and troubleshoot
- you check the quality
- you clean and maintain the printing machines and equipment (maintenance)
You will succeed here if
- you have completed primary school, highest school level:
Canton Solothurn Sek E or Sek P, Canton Bern Secondary Level I, Level S (secondary school) - you can express yourself well in German (spoken and written)
- you have a good technical understanding
- you have an interest in handling electronic controls, devices and IT
- you enjoy working in a team
- you are physically fit
- you have very good vision and colour differentiation ability
- you are adaptable and learn quickly
