As part of the launch of a new Master’s programme entitled Master in Reformed Studies, the Faculty of Theology is advertising a 60% Academic Advisor position. The appointed person will play a central role in the administrative, academic and technical-pedagogical coordination of the course, actively contributing to its development, implementation and visibility. The person will work in close collaboration with the steering committee as well as with the involved teaching staff and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty. The person ensures the overall coordination of the Master in Reformed Studies, supporting the accompaniment of students throughout their course as well as administrative, academic and communication activities.
- Contribute to the structuring and implementation of the curriculum (modules, ECTS, pathways)
- Support the operational implementation of the programme
- Participate in the drafting and harmonisation of course descriptions in English
- Ensure compliance with institutional requirements (Bologna framework, ECTS, UNIGE directives)
- Ensure the coherence of the curriculum and the clarity of the training offer
- Define the orientation and monitoring methods for students
- Prepare reception, information and advisory systems
- Anticipate needs by directing students to the appropriate UNIGE services related to course management (admissions, equivalences, mobility)
- Act as liaison between teaching staff, administrative services and the faculty
- Participate in working groups and academic committees
- Contribute to the preparation of validation and accreditation files
- Implement monitoring and evaluation tools for the programme
- Participate in drafting informational content (website, documentation)
- Participate in the implementation and evaluation of teaching modules and online content (e-learning)
- Contribute to the promotion of the programme to an international audience
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of the programme: drafting minutes, coordination with the steering committee
- Contribute (in the longer term) to the administrative management of diplomas
- Participate (in the longer term) in the development and animation of the alumni network
Required qualifications and skills
University education at Master’s level (or equivalent), ideally in humanities, theology, communication or related field. Experience in academic advising or programme management. Knowledge of the university system is an asset (ECTS, study organisation, accreditation).
Experience or interest in instructional design and e-learning. Skills in project management and coordination. Ease with digital tools and academic platforms.
Appreciated knowledge in the history of the Reformation and Protestantism, theological skills.
Organisational sense and autonomy. Ability to work in a network and in an international environment. Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Languages: excellent command of French and English (working languages).

Required qualifications and experience
Master's degree (or equivalent), ideally in humanities, theology, communication, or a related field. Experience in academic advising or programme management. Knowledge of the university system is an asset (ECTS, study organisation, accreditation). Experience or interest in instructional design and e-learning. Skills in project management and coordination. Strong proficiency with digital tools and academic platforms. Knowledge of Reformation history and Protestantism is desirable.
Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and ability to work in a network and in an international environment. Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Language skills: excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)
